Grit Guard (Sold Separately)
For even better paint protection, use the dedicated K2 Grit Guard [D7022], designed to fit perfectly in K2 detailing buckets. Placed at the bottom, it traps dirt and prevents it from being picked up again by the wash mitt.
How to Use – The Two-Bucket Method
Fill the grey “WASH” bucket with water and car shampoo.
Fill the blue “RINSE” bucket with clean water for rinsing your mitt, sponge, or pad.
Place K2 Grit Guards in both buckets.
After each contact with the car’s surface, rinse your mitt in the “RINSE” bucket.
Reload with shampoo solution from the “WASH” bucket and continue cleaning.
This method significantly reduces the risk of scratches, as dirt and grit remain at the bottom of the buckets, away from your paintwork.
