Vehicle Compatibility

Important Exceptions

Some Renault and Nissan models (approximately 2003-2009) may only have a High Pressure (HP) service port.

Common examples include:

These vehicles require an HP to LP adapter.

Vehicles manufactured from 2017 onwards generally use R1234yf refrigerant and are not compatible with this product.

Easy DIY Installation

No mechanical knowledge or specialist tools required.

1. Attach the charging hose to the XXL can.

2. Ensure the valve pin is fully retracted before piercing the can.

3. Start the engine.

4. Set the air conditioning to maximum cooling and maximum fan speed.

5. Connect the hose to the vehicle’s Low Pressure (LP) port.

6. Pierce the can and open the valve.

7. Turn the can upside down during charging.

8. Monitor the pressure gauge.

9. Stop filling when the gauge reaches the green zone (approximately 40–45 PSI).

10. Disconnect and enjoy cold air again.

How do I find the LP service port?

The Low Pressure port is normally:

• Located on the thicker aluminium pipe

• Protected by a blue or black cap

• Approximately 11 mm in diameter

The supplied quick connector only fits the correct LP port (unless your vehicle requires a special adapter).

Is one XXL can enough?

In most cases, yes.

The equivalent of 815g R134a is sufficient for:

• Most passenger vehicles with empty systems (typically 450–600g capacity)

No.
