Description

NOVOL for Classic Car Aluminium Filler is a high-quality, two-component polyester body filler reinforced with fine aluminium particles. It has been specifically designed for the restoration of vintage and classic car bodies, offering excellent mechanical strength and heat resistance. The presence of aluminium provides enhanced durability, improved adhesion to various substrates, and reduced shrinkage during curing.

Application:
The filler is ideal for car body repairs, especially in areas exposed to high stress or temperature variations, such as engine hoods, roof panels, and door skins. It can be applied on:

• Bare steel

• Galvanized steel

• Aluminium

• Old paint coatings (after proper sanding)

• Fiberglass

Mixing Ratio:

• 100 parts filler : 2–3 parts hardener (by weight)

Pot Life:

• Approx. 5 minutes at 20°C

Curing Time:

• Sandable after approx. 20–30 minutes at 20°C

Sanding:

• Pre-sanding: P80–P120

• Finish sanding: P180–P240
