ATE Plastilube is an essential lubricant for brake repair. The special lubricant prevents the brake pads from rusting in the brake caliper guides and prevents brakes from squealing. To do this, all guide surfaces on the brake caliper and the back plate of the brake pads must be coated with ATE Plastilube before installing the brake.
ATE Plastilube is metal-free and ideal for use on aluminum brake calipers.
