Description
TECHNICQLL METAL EPOXY PUTTY ALUMINIUM STEEL CAST IRON BRONZE BRASS COLD WELD
Metal Epoxy Putty has been developed with the idea of quick (without dismounting) repairs of machines and devices.
Thanks to its properties it is possible to bond and fill losses and reconstruction of elements made of all metals and their alloys.
Typical uses include.
Reproduction of screw joints. small parts and machine element.
Filling losses in corroded machine elements
Sealing cracks in containers
Metal Epoxy Putty is resistant to water. solvents and does not corrode.
On cure it may be machined (drilling. grinding. threading. sawing).
Metal Epoxy Putty may be successfully used on elements made of wood. ceramics and most plastics.
Quick-curing
Easy to use
Bonds. seals. fills looses
Abrasion resisting
Resistant to water and temperature
Dark grey colour
On full cure may be machined (grinding. grilling and threading
HOW TO USE:
Roughen the surface to be repaired with a sand paper or file.
Remove all sorts of dirt and degrease (use Cleaning Kit P-102 or Technical Degreaser P-959)
Mix (by kneading) the same volumes of component A+B until uniform colour is achieved.
Execute repairs within 10 minutes
TECHNICAL DATA:
Colour: dark grey
Life after mixing: 10 min.
Preliminary hardening (25°C): 30 min.
Full hardening: 12 h
Resistance to temperature: -30°C ÷ 120°C
Validity period: 18 months
HINTS AND TIPS:
Heat the components A+B to room temperature before mixing them
Do not mix larger quantities of components A+B than you can use up within 10 minutes
Repair time may be shortened heating the joint with a jet of hot air
Surfaces that are difficult to bond should be earlier covered with a thin layer of liquid epoxy adhesive (e.g. E-358) and left to cure
do no use the putty for bonding/filling PP. PE. PTFE
